This is a full time, night shift opportunity working Wednesday to Tuesday, 8:15 pm - 7:00 am. This Pharmacist will be checking patient orders, authorizations, dispensing medications, will be supervising technicians, and consulting with other medical staff on medication and regimens. This Pharmacist will have the autonomy to work independently within a small team with technician support. This Pharmacist will be providing on-site coverage for the South campus and remote coverage for our Clay and Nassau campuses. A Pharmacists license in the State of Florida is required as well as In-Patient Hospital Pharmacy experience. IV Room/ Infusion experience and a completed PGY1 is preferred, but not required. As an Evening Pharmacist, you will be responsible for: • Entering orders with great accuracy. • Checking technician work for accuracy prior to release of medications and solutions to the floor. • Supervising technicians and serves on committes as assigned. • Answering questions for all health care professionals • Serving as a consultant for members of the medical staff. • Monitoring patient therapy as assigned, including pharmacokinetics services.
